Calling all big dog lovers! Meet the one and only, beautiful Laika. Laika is a 4 year old female Cross-Breed who’s a true gentle giant, weighing a whopping fifty-two kilograms.
She is the definition of a gentle giant who has the softest nature; Laika loves everyone and everything. Laika is wonderful with everyone she comes into contact with, including children of all ages.
She’s the kindest girl to all. Even after her rough start, where she was thankfully rescued from the public shelter, Laika remains a very joyful lady. She has been with our rescuer for over a year now, and it’s desperately time that she finds a permanent spot in someone’s heart.
She deserves a warm and cozy place this winter where she will be spoiled with love! Her foster mum says, “She is an absolute treasure of a dog. Big friendly giant full of love.
Absolutely adores people and gently asks for cuddles. Can have stubborn moments, but is easily distracted by a treat. There are not enough praising words to use. Just an absolutely amazing girl.”
Laika gets along very well with other dogs and happily spends her time with dogs of all shapes and sizes; she isn’t confrontational in the slightest.
She can happily be placed with or without a doggy companion. Laika walks on the lead, is housetrained, travels well in the car, sleeps through the night until you wake her up for morning cuddles, and has been spayed.
She is fully vaccinated and microchipped. Can we help make her dream come true? Laika is now in foster in Lincolnshire.
